MY BEAUTYCOUNTER STORY

I was first introduced to Beautycounter by a friend three years ago. She recommended I check out Beautycounter’s website, and within two minutes of me scrolling through Beautycounter’s products, ingredient lists, and the founder’s mission statement, I knew I was ready to join as a consultant.

At the time, my makeup lessons were booming, and I was sending everyone and their mother (literally) to Nordstrom or Sephora to buy goodness knows what from whom. I wanted more control of the products I was recommending to my clients, and I wanted to represent a company who cared about their products’ ingredients.

Over the last three years, Beautycounter’s makeup line (with a huge shout out to Christy Coleman—first celebrity “green” makeup artist and now Head of Innovation at Beautycounter!) has transformed into a true high-performance beauty brand with over 150 makeup artists working as consultants. I am proud to say that I was one of the first makeup artists to sign on as a Beautycounter consultant.
