My Top Clean Beauty Products for Spring (from Whole Foods)
You probably know by now that I love shopping at Whole Foods. The Whole Body section is truly a lifesaver if you're living a clean beauty lifestyle. Sometimes, I simply don't have the time to order my go-to clean products online and I'm a good hour away from DC where my favorite clean beauty brick and mortar is located. Whole Foods makes clean beauty products easily accessible for locals. I'm grateful that they have shared so many products with me to try and now I can share with you the most effective and cleanest beauty brands they have. And yes, you still have to read labels even at Whole Foods, but the good news is I have already done that for you!
All of the products that I am going to share with you have been gifted to me from, Whole Foods and the opinions are my own.
The Whole Foods Beauty Week Sale (25% off) is from March 21-27! Also, if you have not transitioned to clean beauty products yet and are interested to try a lot at once... ask Whole Foods about their 2018 Beauty Bag. It includes 14 beauty products (some of which I shared on this post) for only $20 (a $90 value). I will share more in my instagram stories.
Top Clean Beauty Products for Spring
Since having a baby who is now a toddler, I am indescribably tired. I have never looked for so many under eye fixes in my life especially since I have to meet clients and look somewhat well-rested. When I placed these chilled hydrogel eye masks on under my eyes, it truly felt like 15 minutes at a spa, but at home -- so soothing. Not only was the process relaxing, my eyes felt less stressed. I have a hard time spending money on products that I can only use once, but the price point is just right for me. The Acure brand is about $2 less than another clean eye mask that I've used before. I also think these would make great gifts for my bridal clients to use before they sit in the makeup chair. The cucumber and Persian silk residue sinks into the delicate under eye area even after the mask is removed -- a great primer for your concealer. I'm a fan!
evanhealy is one of the purest skincare brands at Whole Foods. Their packaging is enticing and the ingredients are harmonious. I've tried many products from this line and I have to say that the Blue Cactus Beauty Elixer is my favorite. This product is the absolute perfect welcome to spring. Meant for "devitalized" skin, this is the skin pick-me-up that everybody needs to heal from a long winter. The elixir is meant to be massaged into damp skin after spraying liberally with their facial tonics. For drier skin or added protection, you can apply one of evenhealy's moisturizers such as the Rose Vetiver Day Moisturizer on top of the elixir.
Meet your clean lipstick go-to if you don't want to spend $20 + on a lipstick. I don't bargain shop for lipstick because I like the real deal so I was shocked at the price of these. If you're a drugstore shopper, you now have EVERY excuse to throw out your Revlon or whatever lipstick you're using. Burt's Bees made all colors possible with their Satin line (no wonder it won Allure's Best of Beauty). I am wearing Brimming Berry (not vegan) and it gives me the perfect pop that I need for spring.
Clean mascara is hard to find and I was not expecting to find one that I liked and haven't already tried. Mineral Fusion pleasantly surprised me! With a lash curl and a couple coats, my lashes were looking lovely and not clumpy either. And no smudges, not water-proof, but definitely, no smudges and I wore it to an all-day event. If you are looking to transition to clean mascara, I would recommend giving Mineral Fusion a try!
