An Ode to Winter- Karin's Winter Wedding

Winter is on it's way out and what better way to say farewell than with a stunning winter wedding for an Annapolis Jewelry designer, Karin owner of Kajs Jewelry. Photographer, Sarah Culver captured Karin's essence perfectly in these organically stunning photos for Karin's snow covered January wedding.

Karin is from Sweden and has lived in America for quite some time now. Her Scandinavian influence and natural beauty envelope her physically and in her design aesthetic. I had the pleasure of working with Karin on a recent coastal styled shoot that I planned and after meeting her, I just had to do her wedding makeup! For her wedding makeup, Karin wanted to look like herself, but with most of the focus on her piercing blue eyes. I played up Karin's eyes and popped her cheeks with a blush/eye color combo in a peach/brown custom palette, that I put together especially for this bridal look. Karin's lipstick is in Float by Lipstick Queen, one of my personal favorite colors!
