Holistic and Organic Facials in Maryland (Eastern Shore)
I have been planning this organic facial series for a while now and what better way to kick it off than in my home state of, Maryland!
My super talented friend, Missy is the owner of the Simply Skin portion of Pure Hair, Simply Skin in Stevensville, MD. She invited me to kick off this blog series with her custom organic facial at her sweet holistic spa.
Pure Hair, Simply Skin is tucked away in the cutest space off Main Street in historic Stevensville. I always make a day of it when I’m over there — checking out antique shops, hitting up the bakery, and lunch at the Italian spot near by.
Missy’s organic facial process is simple and very effective. She works on deep cleaning the skin and restoring hydration using products filled with natural Vitamin C from Rosehip. I didn’t know that there is naturally occurring Vitamin C in pure Rosehip products such as this Rosehip Gel Mask which Missy used on me during my hydration boost. No synthetics allowed!
Missy uses all organic products derived from the purest ingredients and after my facial with her my skin was the most clear it’s ever been and it was at ultimate hydration levels — zero tightness or flaking. These photos were taken on my phone in the dead of winter. Look how clear and fresh my skin is? I don’t have an ounce of makeup on!
Missy waxed my eye brows and has a full, clean, and defined waxing style and the most gentle touch. She also provides natural-based microblading services and organic spray tanning. I often recommend my bridal clients to Missy for a natural spray tan on their way to Easton or Saint Michael’s for their wedding.
As if the above doesn’t keep Missy busy enough, she is the newest member on my bridal makeup team and is a beautiful natural makeup artist! I will officially introduce Missy on my website very soon. However; so you can put a face to a name… here we are together at the kick off event for, The Founders House in Annapolis.
